How do I change my account password?

Your account password can be changed on the web or desktop application by following these steps:

  1. Select the Account icon in the bottom left corner.
  2. Select Account Settings.
  3. Select Change password, then provide your current password and new password.

Note:

Please ensure that you export a backup file before you attempt to change your account password.

After changing your password, you will need to either reauthenticate your credentials on other devices where you are signed in, or you can also choose to sign out and sign back into your account on those devices.
